On Friday, March 25th, St. Rose parish will be both honoring and invoking our Mother Mary. We will have Mass at 8:10 am (special time instead of the usual 7:45 am) for the Solemnity of the Annunciation. Then at 10:40 we will have Adoration followed by a rosary, and then at 11 am we will join Catholics worldwide for the Consecration of Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. On the last Sunday of the liturgical year, the Church celebrates the Solemnity of Christ the King. St. Rose of Lima is holding its first annual Christ the King Procession on Sunday, November 21 at 5 pm, beginning at the church. Fr. Scott will expose the Eucharist for adoration, and then we will process around the neighborhood, making our back to church for benediction. Refreshments will follow. Please join us as we literally take our Lord Jesus through the streets of Schulenburg.

As previously announced, our Pastor Very Reverend Timothy Kosler will be retiring at the end of June. Bishop Brendan Cahill has named Reverend Scott Hill as the new pastor of St. Rose of Lima, effective July 1st. Father Scott is currently the Associate Pastor at Sacred Heart in Hallettsville. Additionally, our Associate Pastor Reverend Felix Twumasi has been named Parish Administrator(Pastor) for Queen of the Holy Rosary (Hostyn) and Sts. Peter & Paul (Plum), effective July 1st.
